Those who formed First Christian Church so many years ago were a part of a larger tradition known as the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). This voluntary association is shared by Restoration.

Disciples of Christ is a global community of faith of 750,000 Christians across 3,700 congregations. With a healthy respect for diversity, Disciple congregations share a stated purpose to be “a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.”
